Keeping the campus secure through proactive policing and partnerships

Reducing Risks by Working Together

Part of what makes a great police department is the ability to address crime proactively. By educating and partnering with members of the campus community, the community engagement unit keeps our campus thriving. Here are some of the programs and initiatives we offer:

  • Safety and security talks to students, staff, and faculty
  • Universitywide crime prevention tables to promote specific safety and security services
  • Property registration for bicycles and electronic devices
  • Self-defense instruction for students, staff, and faculty
